Meet the instructor

Dr. Steve Pelletier is a chiropractor, educator, and clinician focused on musculoskeletal medicine, functional anatomy, and needling techniques.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the Université de Moncton.

Since 2009, he has been a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, teaching human anatomy, musculoskeletal anatomy, sports injury prevention, and exercise science.

He also collaborates with spine surgeons through the spine surgery triage program at The Ottawa Hospital and serves as clinical director of Sunnyside Chiropractic & Sports Injury Clinic in Ottawa.

Dr. Pelletier has developed and delivered dry needling education programs for chiropractors at the Institut Franco-Européen de Chiropraxie in France.

His teaching emphasizes functional anatomy, precise palpation, and the safe integration of needling techniques into musculoskeletal care.
